Now, to celebrate the team’s 20th anniversary, a new Formula 1 Chronograph joins the collection. As expected, this watch blends the team colors and a highly technical look to create a sporty timepiece.The Oracle Red Bull team marks its 20th anniversary. Fittingly, a new limited-edition TAG Heuer chronograph is here, so let’s take a brief look.The TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Oracle Red Bull RacingThe latest collaboration watch for TAG Heuer and Oracle Red Bull Racing uses the familiar 43mm by 48.6mm Formula 1 Chronograph case. In this application, the steel case and bezel are coated with black DLC. The watch includes a blue aluminum tachymeter bezel insert and a 200m water resistance rating. A dark blue rubber strap with an asphalt texture joins a DLC-coated folding clasp.Colorful and sportyUnsurprisingly, this Formula 1 chronograph is decked out in the team’s colors. A grainy dark blue dial works with large, printed Super-LumiNova numerals and the “Red Bull” text along the left side. Then, a yellow central chronograph hand and hour markers add contrast. Happily, this model uses a traditional 3-6-9 layout for the sub-dials with a date window at 4 o’clock. The sub-dials show running seconds, 1/10th of a second, and a 30-minute totalizer. Quartz keeps it thinThe TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Oracle Red Bull Racing uses a battery-powered Swiss-made quartz movement. As a result, it’s just 12.4mm including the flat sapphire crystal and screw-in case back. Finally, regarding the case back, it is specially inscribed with the team’s logo and a graphic commemorating 20 years.Availability and pricingLike most collaboration watches, the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph Oracle Red Bull Racing is a limited edition. However, with a production run of 3,000 pieces, this watch should be available at local authorized dealers or on the brand’s website.
